A New Jersey police officer is being praised as a hero after risking his life to save an unconscious man from a burning car last Monday.
Scott Krissinger, 27, rushing at the burning car unhesitatingly the moment he arrived at the scene of the accident. He pulled the driver, Gerald Ferrill, 61, and went back to see if there is anyone else is still in the car.
This heroic moment was caught on the police officer's patrol car dash cam.
"He didn't hesitate," Cape May Police Captain Rob Sheehan told NBC10. "He's a hero in every sense of the word and we're very happy to have him as a member of our department."
